Are You Experiencing Signs of Stress?


Do you know your signs of stress? Do you find yourself becoming impatient with your children, grinding your teeth, breaking out in hives, and yelling at the garbage truck down the street?

 I remember becoming so stressed when parenting my young children as a single mom that I would develop multiple cancer sores which were quite painful. I asked my dentist what to do about them. He quoted a long Latin term for anxiety and mentioned something about needing a new life.

If only I had known about breathing for reducing stress!  I was clueless as to my own signs of stress.

One of the methods for reducing stress and to take better care of yourself is to BREATHE! Take 3 deep breaths – 5 seconds in, 5 seconds out – to slow your heart rate and the pace of your stress hormones.

Slow breathing is a good way to take a time out, and is probably a relief for your children as well.
